Home School Woodworking Workshop - Create a visible planter

Join me for a fun, hands on workshop in my working woodshop located at Forresters Beach on the NSW Central Coast.

This workshop is suitable for ages 6-12 and will run for 1.5 hours.

Students will learn to:

• Measure and mark timber accurately
• Use the drill (under close supervision)
• Learn and use woodworking glue with clamps
• Use hand tools
• Use of screwdriver and screws to combine timber
• Use of mixed materials 

Students will also participate in an engaging sustainability session where we will chat about:

• Empathy in our environment
• What reusing materials looks like (demonstration of dismantling a piece of discarded furniture)

Parents are welcome to stay for the workshop or drop off their child. I will have tea/coffee and biscuits available as well as toilet facilities,
