These workshops can be held in any
undercover location, I bring a workbench and all supplies with me. The workshop begins with an introduction to woodworking, I will present timber types, differences between hardwood and softwood and some interesting facts about timber. I will show a
short video about landfill to educate children about the need to reuse.

We then dive into the woodworking where children will move through the different stages of marking timber, preparing to drill, using a hammer, screwdriver, drill, sanding, glueing and decorating.
Each child will get to take their project home along with a letter showing
where the timber used has come from.
