Christmas workshops for Early Learning Centres and Preschools
Bookings are now open!
During this workshop children get to create their very own moveable Christmas tree!
Using a variety of recycled timber saved from landfill, children will learn practical woodworking skills while creating a unique Christmas decoration to take home.
Throughout the workshop, children will have the opportunity to:
- 📏 Measure and mark their timber.
- 🔨 Learn how to prepare timber for drilling and safely use tools.
- 🪵 Have a go at drilling and sanding.
- 🌲 Work out which lengths of timber go where to bring their moveable Christmas tree to life.
We’ll also explore ways to have a more sustainable Christmas, sharing simple tips and tricks to minimise our environmental impact this Christmas. We will chat about things we love during Christmas from spending time with loved ones to creating memories and meaningful traditions — and discover how to make Christmas special without focusing solely on presents.
Workshop cost:
0-10 children: $270
10-20 children: $320
20-30 children: $370
