Homeschool Woodworking Workshop - Create your own Utility/Key Rack

Join me for a fun, hands on workshop in my working woodshop located at Forresters Beach.

This workshop is suitable for ages 5-10 and will run for 1.5 hours.

Perfect for curious learners who enjoy creating with their hands, this workshop introduces fundamental woodworking skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Students will learn to:

• Measure and mark timber accurately
• Sand and prepare timber surfaces
• Use a drill, screwdriver and hammer safely
• Explore different types of fasteners and how they work
  

Students will also participate in an engaging sustainability sessions where we will chat about:

• Where timber comes from and how it is processed
• Why timber is such a unique and renewable resource
• Where our rubbish actually goes and how we can reduce waste and protect our environment
  

Parents are welcome to stay for the workshop or drop off their child. I will have tea/coffee and biscuits available as well as toilet facilities.
