Home School Woodworking Workshop - Create your own bird feeder

Join me for a fun, hands on workshop in my working woodshop located at Forresters Beach on the NSW Central Coast.

This workshop is suitable for ages 5-10 and will run for 1.5 hours.

Students will learn to:

• Measure and mark timber accurately
• Use the drill (under close supervision)
• Tie knots
• Use hand tools
• Explore various grits of sandpaper

Students will also participate in an engaging sustainability session where we will chat about:

• What happens to our recycling
• How much waste is actually recycled?
• The importance of reusing where we can

Parents are welcome to stay for the workshop or drop off their child. I will have tea/coffee and biscuits available as well as toilet facilities,
